Authorised subletting

Authorised subletting lets a tenant sublet their home temporarily through Moïen, for example during a work trip, with the landlord's written consent. Every stay is recorded and the revenue is split automatically.

How it works

  1. The landlord enables subletting on the listing or lease.
  2. The main tenant publishes the dates they will be away.
  3. Travellers book just like a short-term rental.
  4. Revenue is split automatically between landlord and tenant.

What it costs

The landlord receives 25% of the subletting revenue, on top of the rent. The main tenant receives 69%.
