Legal information

Terms of use

1. Purpose

These terms govern access to and use of the platform Moïen, published by Crossfunding S.à r.l. (RCS B 222685 (Luxembourg Trade and Companies Register)). Moïen lets you search for, list, book and manage short-term and long-term rental properties and authorised sublets. Bookings and rentals are governed by the Booking and rental terms.

2. Creating an account

One account lets you travel, rent, list and manage properties. You can register with an email address and password, or sign in with Google. Your email address must be verified.

You must be of legal age and have legal capacity to enter into contracts, provide accurate information and keep your login details confidential. All activity on your account is deemed to be carried out by you.

3. Platform access

Moïen aims to provide continuous access to the platform but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance or incidents affecting third-party providers (such as the map provider) may temporarily make some features unavailable.

4. User responsibilities

  • Comply with applicable laws, including rental, subletting, tax and planning rules;
  • Only offer properties you are authorised to rent out or sublet;
  • Respect other members, the property and the house rules;
  • Do not bypass the platform to complete a transaction initiated on Moïen: a tenant introduced by Moïen remains a Moïen contact, and a signed lease must be reported even if it is signed outside the platform (see the Booking and rental terms).

5. Listings and accuracy

Landlords and agencies publish their own listings. They remain solely responsible for the accuracy of the information (description, floor area, price, availability, photos and permissions). AI-assisted suggestions are published only after the landlord confirms them.

The "Subletting authorised with Moïen" badge appears only when the corresponding permission is recorded by Moïen. Falsely claiming permission is a serious breach.

6. Prohibited content

  • Unlawful, misleading, discriminatory, hateful or violent content, or content that infringes privacy;
  • Fictitious or duplicate listings, or listings for properties you have no right to offer;
  • Contact details intended to bypass the platform, spam or malware;
  • Content that infringes third-party rights (photos, trademarks or text).

7. User content

You retain ownership of the content you publish. You grant Moïen a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, reproduce and display it on the platform and to promote listings for as long as it is published. Moïen may remove any content that clearly breaches these terms.

8. Intellectual property

Moïen's brand, logo, interface and content are protected. No rights are transferred to you beyond normal use of the platform.

9. Suspension and termination

If you breach these terms, Moïen may remove a listing or suspend or close an account after informing you, except in urgent cases. You may challenge this decision through the contact form.

10. Service limitations

Moïen acts as a technical intermediary between users. Moïen is not a party to the rental agreement between landlord and tenant unless expressly stated otherwise. Detailed liability provisions: This information is being finalised and will be available soon.

11. Account deletion

You can request deletion of your account at any time through the contact form. Ongoing bookings and rentals must first be completed or cancelled. Some data is retained for statutory periods (see the Privacy policy).

12. Changes to these terms

Moïen may update these terms. You will be informed of any material changes before they take effect.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Luxembourg law, without prejudice to consumer protection provisions in consumers' countries of residence. Competent jurisdiction and mediation: This information is being finalised and will be available soon.
